Nestled between the South shores of Lake Calhoun and the West side of Lake Harriet in Southwest Minneapolis is a neighborhood unique unto its self. Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun are an easy walk from our (downtown) shopping district at 43rd. & Upton. At either lake you can swim, enjoy a walk or bike/rollerblade on paths that connect you to the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway. With over 50 miles of public pathways, it’s a great way to enjoy our chain of lakes, parks and the Minnehaha creek parkway on to the Mississippi River road. You’re sure to find it easy to make a day of it!

As with all of southwest Minneapolis, access to the rest of the city is simple. Zoom up Lyndale and in just minutes you’re in Uptown or through to downtown. Jump on 35W or Highway 62 and in seconds and your just a few miles from the airport, several malls and the southern and western suburbs including Edina and Bloomington.

Geography of the Linden Hills Neighborhood:
Lynnhurst is located in the southwest corner of Minneapolis. The area includes a portion of Lake Harriet, Minnehaha Creek and the park and trail system that ties them together. Surrounding neighborhoods include Windom, Armatage, Kenny, Lynhurst, East Harriet, Kingfield, Fulton, and Tangletown. Neighborhood Boundaries are as follows-
North: 36th Street West and Lake Calhoun
South: 47th Street
East: William Berry Drive and Lake Harriet
West: France Avenue
